LEGOLAND California - Official App Reviews

Waste of time.

- Location does not work - All Showtimes UNAVAILABLE - Cant Zoom in Just an all around waste. Use paper maps

unusable

map shows that im at the other side of the park augmented reality doesnt work all show show sorry this show...,

Needs an upgrade

This is a good concept, but has too many problems to be useful. Inside the park, the pages load very slowly, and the map shows some ride locations in the wrong spot. The "Aug reality" map is only available in landscape mode, and the labels overlap, making them useless. The ride names dont match the names on park signs.

Nice if it worked

This app is a great idea, if only it worked. The Current Location shows us always on the far right side of the park, and the show Eatery filter only shows one food location in the park. Gave up on it after that

Nice idea, poor programming

This should be the ideal companion to a visit to LEGOLAND California but there are just too many bugs to deal with. The map only shows your location when you first launched the app. It doesnt change the location as you move about the park. This makes the map less useful than the paper map. The events calendar is OK but more emphasis should be place on TODAY, not next month. The app does show ads reliably. At least they tested that.

Needs an update to hours.

Trying look at the park hours for this week, but the calendar doesnt go past 2013.

Neglected

This app could be great. But its buggy, not up to date and difficult to navigate. Would like to see menus of restaurants, accurate hours the park is open, line wait times, and easy to follow map.

Dont download for ride wait times

Add at least 20 minutes to estimated ride wait times.

Useless. Inaccurate. Dont bother.

We had a nice day out at Legoland. I figured since we are now living in the app-age, thered be little reason to keep using an old fashioned paper map. The app has a map, but doesnt do anything to direct me inside. The wait times for the attractions seem like they are never updated. The photographers at the park entrance took our pictures, gave us a ticket and told us to check with them before we exit to see them. After we left, I realized that had slipped my mind. Why is there nothing in the app to buy prints or the files? That would have been perfect to have in the app.

Legoland California

Worthless for iPhone 4 - cant add trip because the add trip selection is hidden under the menu at bottom of the screen. Seems to work ok for iPhone 5. Would be good if you could log in so you could share your trip with select family and friends (vs posting on FB)

Map location broke

The map isnt helpful since it doesnt show your current location. I was better off using paper maps there.

Use paper

Asks to use your location but then doesnt use it at all. Wait times arent updated at all. Bad info is even worse than no info, go it alone.

You guys are lazy

Update with chima part of the park Make gps actually work Some menu item for the food places for an idea of what they have would be great

Cool features that dont work

As I stood in line for a show app told me there were no shows that day. As I looked at an attraction the cool augmented reality told me what I was looking at was behind me, the park map showed me where I was only I wasnt there. The car finder just wouldnt even open and the ride wait time indicator wasnt particularly accurate. As I used the app I wondered why did they even bother making it? A really great app if it worked but it doesnt.

Looks great, works like s!(t

Looks great almost none of the features work, ones that do are mostly innacurate. Worthless.

Almost worthless (and this is a free app)

In anticipation of our first trip to Legoland we downloaded the app, thinking that it would assist us greatly like the latest Disneyland app. I opened the app while still at home to peruse what features it had. I noticed there was a list of wait times, a map with a location feature and an "augmented reality" view, and under "more" a car-finder app. None of them worked at this time and i figured it was because i wasnt actually at Legoland and the park was closed at that moment anyway. Day of arrival at Legoland: after waiting or an hour for parking (preferred parking), i remembered "oh yeah, the parking app!" I was disappointed to click on the app and see it think for a moment, then go back to normal. The app never started. Grr.. During the course of the day i tried using the map app on several occasions and grew increasingly frustrated. The map is tiny, even when expanded, and it has no labels! That wouldnt be so bad if only the location function worked, but the location function was way off as well (told me i was in chima water park when i was sitting at a table in knights table BBQ. The map was useless when we tried to find our way out of the park at the end of the day.) There is a ride wait time function which i thought would be useful. Not so. Ride wait times were all horribly optimistic. Actual wait times were about 30 minutes longer than the app said, and it never appeared to update during the course of the day. It was very crowded that day so maybe the wait times indeed never changed... Or they were estimates by Legoland personnel and were never meant to update live. The quality of the app was on par with the quality of our experience at Legoland. The app has since been deleted and we wont be going back to Legoland again.

Worse than nothing!

Wait times did not update at all even after refreshing page. Rides listed as closed were open, ones that were listed as open closed. Really appalling. Use for ride height restrictions, but otherwise skip.

Orlando

Why is there not a Legoland Florida app yet

Just ok

The map is helpful. Wait times are not accurate. No search feature. Better than nothing and its free.

worst app in the history of apps

I hate this app for the wait times bc the app said the technic coaster had technical difficulties but I saw the technic coaster moving. I wanted to rate this app 1/10 of a star but it wouldnt let me :( u banana
